Leslie Macaulay
Lesley Macaulay studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts and is a graduate of the theatre program at John Abbott College (Montréal). She worked as a costume design assistant to Susan Benson at the Stratford Festival, and went on to design for the Stratford Festival stage herself. At the National Arts Centre, in addition to Can’t Pay? Won’t Pay! (1986) for the NAC Theatre stage, she designed productions for the Atelier, the NAC’s former theatre on King Edward Avenue in Ottawa. Lesley Macaulay has created designs for Toronto Free Theatre, Toronto Workshop Productions and Comus Music Theatre (Toronto).
