ArtsAlive.ca Helper Applications
In order to fully experience the multimedia resources on ArtsAlive.ca, the following helper programs are required. All of these players may be downloaded for free.
- QuickTime will enable users to view audio and video clips as well as webcasts and the QTVR™ Virtual Instruments.
- Real Player will enable users to view the audio and video clips and webcasts.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader allows visitors to read PDF files such as the Teacher's Kits.
- Macromedia Flash Player allows visitors to play our interactive games.
For optimum viewing of ArtsAlive.ca we recommend:

Bandwidth Requirements for webcasts
The National Arts Centre provides streaming options for both high and low bandwidth. To optimize your experiences with video and audio files, a cable modem or DSL connection is recommended.
