A distinguishing feature of any National Arts Centre Orchestra tour is outreach to children and youth. These outreach activities are opportunities for Pinchas Zukerman and the National Arts Centre Orchestra to step off the stage and into the classrooms to teach, encourage and inspire students. With at least twice as many educational programs than concerts, NAC Orchestra's educational outreach is where the real and lasting imprint is made.
The National Arts Centre's "Let's Go Mozart!" Teacher Resource Kit has been distributed to 1000 elementary schools in Monterrey, Mexico City, Chicago, Washington, and New York as well as to all 12,500 elementary schools in Canada. The guide is available in three languages and can be downloaded from here for free.
