Educational resources
A distinguishing feature of any National Arts Centre Orchestra tour is outreach to children and youth. These outreach activities are opportunities for Pinchas Zukerman and the National Arts Centre Orchestra to step off the stage and into the classrooms to teach, encourage and inspire students. With at least twice as many educational programs than concerts, NAC Orchestra's educational outreach is where the real and lasting imprint is made.
Vivaldi and the Four Seasons: Teacher Resource Kit
The National Arts Centre's " Vivaldi and the Four Seasons" Teacher Resource Kit has been distributed to 1400 elementary schools in British Columbia in the fall of 2004 as part of the NAC Orchestra's BC Tour and will be distributed in the spring of 2005 to every elementary school in Canada. The guide is available in English and French and can be downloaded from here for free.
